yes.
the final score was 3-2. Manchester United 3, Malaysia XI 2.
a few years back, we would've been thrashed senseless. but whoa way to catch up, boys.
the line-up:
Manchester United:
Edwin Van Der Sar, Patrick Evra, Rio Ferdinand, Anderson, Dimitar Berbatov, Wayne Rooney, Nani, Paul Scholes, John O Shea, Johnny Evans, Darron Gibson.
Owen came in the second half - he scored the winning goal. yes. really. he did.
Malaysia XI:
Farizal Marlias, Asraruddin Omar, Aidil Zafuan, Zaquan Adha, Shafio Rahim, Amar Rohidan, Indra Putra Mahayuddin, S.Kunalan, Mohd Amri Yahyah, Mazlizam Mohd.
Amri scored both goals for Malaysia. granted he was a little selfish - he just risked it when he could actually pass it on - but that was some epic shit. wha'hell VDS. WHA'HELL. lol 4 years of Van Der Sar we forget how keeper fuck up looks like lawl.
but but but. sir alex, since you might still be on a shopping spree, buy Farizal lol. fuck sial, keeper kitorang hebat gile kot.
and most of these guys aren't any older than i am.
it was a decent game. 100,000 spectators, you can see nothing but a sea of red. but honestly, i think everyone in that stadium were torn to which to support - the club or our own homeboys. i was half and half but those who had the manchester united jerseys even cheered for malaysia. it's good to see people going for the sake of the game - not hooliganism XD
when farizal tumbled because of a kick in the stomach, everyone started clapping for him to get up. the stadium went crazy when he did.
when amri scored, everyone went crazy nuts as well.
this has to be like, the only few times i'm actually patriotic - at least the local football team isn't showing as much suck as they used to. and that's a good thing. giving us faith that we CAN actually rise up among the champs.
takpe, takpe. slowly. confirm can.
anyhoodles, photos! my seat wasn't that awesome - i should have gone down - but oh well, good enough i suppose.
