Devils vs. Harimau.

i was actually rendered speechless lawl. granted i only stayed for half the game - i wasn't feeling too well - but i was really happy to be able to stick around until malaysia xi scored their first goal.

yes.

the final score was 3-2. Manchester United 3, Malaysia XI 2.

a few years back, we would've been thrashed senseless. but whoa way to catch up, boys.

the line-up:

Manchester United:
Edwin Van Der Sar, Patrick Evra, Rio Ferdinand, Anderson, Dimitar Berbatov, Wayne Rooney, Nani, Paul Scholes, John O Shea, Johnny Evans, Darron Gibson.

Owen came in the second half - he scored the winning goal. yes. really. he did.

Malaysia XI:
Farizal Marlias, Asraruddin Omar, Aidil Zafuan, Zaquan Adha, Shafio Rahim, Amar Rohidan, Indra Putra Mahayuddin, S.Kunalan, Mohd Amri Yahyah, Mazlizam Mohd.

Amri scored both goals for Malaysia. granted he was a little selfish - he just risked it when he could actually pass it on - but that was some epic shit. wha'hell VDS. WHA'HELL. lol 4 years of Van Der Sar we forget how keeper fuck up looks like lawl.

but but but. sir alex, since you might still be on a shopping spree, buy Farizal lol. fuck sial, keeper kitorang hebat gile kot.

and most of these guys aren't any older than i am.

it was a decent game. 100,000 spectators, you can see nothing but a sea of red. but honestly, i think everyone in that stadium were torn to which to support - the club or our own homeboys. i was half and half but those who had the manchester united jerseys even cheered for malaysia. it's good to see people going for the sake of the game - not hooliganism XD

when farizal tumbled because of a kick in the stomach, everyone started clapping for him to get up. the stadium went crazy when he did.

when amri scored, everyone went crazy nuts as well.

this has to be like, the only few times i'm actually patriotic - at least the local football team isn't showing as much suck as they used to. and that's a good thing. giving us faith that we CAN actually rise up among the champs.

takpe, takpe. slowly. confirm can.

anyhoodles, photos! my seat wasn't that awesome - i should have gone down - but oh well, good enough i suppose.

"the youth says 'glory glory' with a shout!"

this is gonna be one hell of a blog post.

after only getting around, oh let's see, a little over 4 hours of sleep, i got up at around 11.30am. thanks to mom and dad who both asked me where i was - in KL of course - because it's in the papers that my campus has been quarantine and will remain as such for the next 9 days. score. falling back to sleep was proven to be a futile act.

since groupmate text me continuously, disturbing said sleep.

so i picked up my sorry ass off the bed and turned on my computer, fixing whatever that needs to be fixed in my portfolio - i was going to go for a meeting at youth asia. their office - behind dad's lawl.

i skipped breakfast, as per usual, and unfortunately lunch too. i headed for kelana jaya around 1.30pm. much love to the boyfriend for sending me there. picked up the shout awards tickets i won - which i clearly didn't need (considering by the end of the event, i had a small stack with me still).

30 minutes later, i walked back into the office with my groupmates. lol.

about 2 hours later, our meeting with khailee and joel were proven to be very very fruitful - we're officially interns at youth asia. and my first job: videographing the mtv world stage roadshow. i start monday at segi kota damansara yaww. remind me to pick up the camera and some tapes on sunday. it's prolly high time i get myself a firewire capture card for my pc. lawl.

then the boyfriend picked me up, and we were well on our way to bukit jalil. i was excited to watch the training but i didn't expect that big of a turn out since it was a weekday.

big. effing. mistake.

just for training. i wish i was fucking kidding.

i only stuck around for the training for like, 30 minutes before i felt like leaving. i guess watching something like football requires a friend. ): the boyfriend = totally not interested in sports. working out yes, sports no.

weird i know.

and then it was off to the shout awards!

i'm not really gonna elaborate on anything so i'll just put it in point form:

1) to quote wan: rogue squadron flag on stage >>>>>> jolly roger. for real.
2) sean kingston was miming.
3) caprice was just. bullshit. i'm sorry. i just can't like him. his 20 girls aren't even pretty.
4) estranged did an epic performance - except for the 'get down on your knees' bit. dude. weak.
5) jin was effin' awesome. not even being biased. ask around - it's the truth. except that he didn't go to the front ):
6) PENAT.

photos were all taken by my sister's sony digital camera because i got lazy to lug around a dslr. i was thankful that i didn't too.

in all honesty and seriousness, so far this year has been the most eventful. it started out crappy but it's slowly picking up pace. i have many different good opportunities to meet with awesome new people, realizing my full potential and also working together with them.

and for those opportunities, i thank you. every one of you who are or had been involved. i love you all. please, continue taking care of me and guiding me on all the paths i wish to pursue. i don't have to drop names, you're all fucking precious, y'all don't even know.

thank you.

now, i shall shower and go to bed.

lolina here. peace out rockers, hip-hoppers and life lovers.

more opinions, less assholes.

so it's already confirmed: all uitm alor gajah students were, as of today, ordered to leave campus and head home. why?

a lecturer was hit with a(h1n1).

it's funny how, you know, when 5 kids fell sick with the flu class were to go on as normal but when one lecturer falls sick with the disease, it was then they ask the kids to go home. i wonder what in the world were you thinking mr. mizan sir. plus, it's not called quarantine - it's called "perintah pulang".

Q-word now damn sensitive ah. fuck reputation la. parents get paranoid you know.

so i'm off from school for a week. good. i can get my research shit together and sit down to write the damn proposal.
